What We Do
Nanny Monique Organization (NMO) offers various projects that empower youth and widows in Rwanda through technical and practical skills training.
Teaching Sewing
Our program helps young people from poor families or those who are orphans to acquire technical and practical skills in sewing. This training enables them to become self-employed and contribute to their families and communities.
Teaching Wood Carving
Our program focuses on developing the skills of young people in making sculptures of different shapes. This training empowers them to become skilled artisans and entrepreneurs.
Locally Produced and Pressed Oil
We established this project to support our organization’s daily operations. By pressing sunflower seeds, we produce high-quality sunflower oil, which we use and sell locally.
Flour Milling
This project aims to provide our students with maize flour for their meals and to help local people access good quality maize and other cereal flours. We produce these flours using our milling and grinding machine.
Helping Young People Grow In Their Faith In Jesus
We also offer devotional teachings that help our beneficiaries develop good character and receive Jesus Christ as their Savior. We believe that faith-based teachings can help shape the character and values of our beneficiaries, and we encourage them to practice these values in their daily lives.
Since our establishment, NMO has trained 77 students who have completed their training and are now equipped with the necessary skills to start their own businesses. We also give school uniforms to students from poor families and provide health insurance to families in need.
At NMO, we are committed to our mission of empowering the youth and widows of Rwanda. We believe that through our projects and devotional teachings, we can make a significant impact on the lives of those we serve.
